Leaving park - Cleanup fee?

Mod is near completion, traded in my mobile. Gave 30 days notice of my intent to vacant my lot and remove home. Was told I need to give a "blank money order" of $250 to cover cleanup costs. If no cleanup needed, money order would be returned (oh yeah, I trust them...NOT!)

There is no mention of this in my lease. Is this fee something they can enforce without an agreement between the park and me?

Thanks,
Bob

If it's not in your lease, then I'd just tell them such fee is not indicated in my lease and that the lot will be cleaned up before I leave (and then clean it up before you leave).

No mention of it in the lease, no check and never, never a blank one for any amount...even w/a cap on it.

Oh and if you do get charged...you want an itemized list and pricing!

Oh yeah, ARC. Just when you think things can't get worse...

When I went in with my 30 day termination letter, the person who took it said "Oh great, another one". Guess they shouldn't have decided lawn mowing was the tenet's responsibility starting this fall (this after garbage pickup ended last year).
