I own a 1970 Hilton 14 x 68 mobile home and wish to repaint the outside. What preperation is necessary and what kind of paint can I use?

Depends on what the siding is made of. If it is wood or fiberboard than a good primer and latex paint will work fine after you powerwash it. If you use a high pressure powerwasher be carefull around the windows espically if they are thermopane because you can break the seal. Use a latex caulk where necessary look for any rot and replace it.

I have metal (with fibor board inserts as siding )on my Mfg. Home and want to repaint it.
Is there a specialty paint or does the normal painting such as latex over a primer do the best job?
