Wallboard Repair

We are new to the manufactured homes. I would like to know what is the easiest fix when you get a hole in the interior wall without replacing the whole panel. I notice that most of these walls are wallpapered. Thanks for your help.

You may want to have the walls done in tape-and-texture, no differently than stick built. The issue is that the wallpaper patterns are near-impossible to find, years later when they are needed.
Great idea for the manufacturers - include some extra.
Other than that, I would say you're likely looking at re-papering that wall and/or painting.

How much does it usually cost to do a wall that has a hole the size of the bottom of an 8 oz glass for example. just the woodwork?

You stated that it would be easier to tape and texture, but my home is only 3 yrs old and my step son punched a hole in his bedroom and of course it went through the hall side also, so all I need is 2 pieces of prefinished drywall. Do you have any idea where I might find it. Thanks, Janet

Take a look in the closets or in the cabinets. If there is matching dry wall salvage a few sticks of the matching trim and what you need in dry wall from the closet to replace the damaged area in the room and hall.

You can put any drywall in the closet. If the odd matchi in the closet bothers you then paint the inside of closet. It will be a much smaller paint job then a full wall.

If you cant find matching dry wall it is not a very big job to repair and paint a few full walls.
