Air Space under Home

Insted of the normal aluminum skirting used around the underside of the home, I have poured cement. On two sides I have openings approximately 32" X 36" for entry as well as airflow. There are also numerous vents acros the widths of the walls.

Some people say to just put a peice of wood or board across the entry openings to keeps animals and so on from using the undeside as a home. Some say that you need the openings for airflow.

Is there a prefered method or some type of screened door that should be used rather than completely blocking the area?

Typically every manufactured home requires ventilated crawl spaces, They require 1 sq. Ft of free air for each 150 sq ft of floor and the vents should provide cross ventialtion. Don't close off thje vent openings!
Make sure you have no holes in your bottom board to keep out critters!

I have the crawl space under my house but little mice (I think) are running up and down the vent pipes and tearing up the insulation. Any ideas on how I can prevent that?
