Cabinet replacement

I'm considering replacing my old MH pressboard cabinets with craftmaid. My question is will the 2x3 studs support the weight of the newer cabinets? Also need to know what type of replacement oven vent to use

The weight of the cabinet is generally not a factor. Excessive cabinet weight is usually from what is inside the cabinet. A cabinet with a "back" will allow additional bracing that you may not have had with the originals.
If you currently have a side wall vent, you may use it, or you may want to utilize a vented range hood. Installing it thru the sidewall is a relatively simple installation.
