Combination heater/cooler

My house is 4 years old, and a couple of years ago, we started having problems with the cooler icing up in the summer time. We had it checked out and were told that everything was working fine, didn't know why it was icing. It suddenly dawned on me this morning that we changed out the thermostate about the time that this all started happening. Could that maybe be the reason that it is icing? Have no problem with the heater, just the cooler. Thanks for any help, about at my wits end!

The best way (and maybe the least expensive) to fix your system is to have it
checked out by a qualified HVAC servicer. On the other hand, you could pour
some bucks into it with guess work. If it is 4 years old and has not been
serviced, you could have blocked cooling fins or a weak fan motor. it could
be other things as well.

good luck

I'm sorry, I should have added that we did have it checked out and it "supposedly" was working fine. That is why I was wondering about the thermostate.
