We are going to purchase a new 32X80 double-wide and are feeling more than a little overwhelmed. We have looked at dozens of homes in person. We have looked at much more than that online. We have tried to research every manufacturer as much as possible, but none seem to have super-great records from what we have found. We realize that nobody can have an umblemished record due to the nature of the business, however. We really love a Cavalier home we saw, but can't help but wonder if it truly is a good home or if we can find something less expensive and just as good.
We are looking for a home that has quality and durability, of course. There is so much info out there, we are still not sure what to look for. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US!! TELL US WHAT KINDS OF FEATURES WE SHOULD FOCUS ON!! We would love to have a listing of the best brands for "QUALITY" & "CUSTOMER SERVICE" if possible too. We live in Mississippi. (We do realize that customer service has a lot to do with the dealership we purchase from though.)
ANY INFO ALL OF YOU CAN OFFER WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
What do we need to look for in a double??
Re: What do we need to look for in a double??
We haven't bought yet, but I found Randy Eaton's books very helpfull. He gives a lot of advise on what to look for in a quality home. The books are well worth the small investment. I'm sure you will find other good books available here. Good hunting.
