The Manufactured Housing Forums

Have been looking for MH for several months. Were sold on Palm Harbor but then viewed many others. Fleetwood, Karsten, Fuqua, Silvercrest & many others. Prefer floor plans on a couple of Golden West models (3 wide). Also like some of their other features. However, the jury is still out on the flooring system. It appears their steel transverse frame & longitudinal 2x6s are very sound but am concerned about "treated" 3/4" particle board even though they claim it to have a lifetime warranty.

Has anyone had experience w/ Golden West they would like to share. We just want a solid home w/ a good warranty that's not going to give us headaches down the road living in NW Oregon. Thanx for any & all input.
