Can a bad rental reference letter cost me my mobile home if I have already been pre approved for financing? Thanks for your response.

The answer depends on the type of lending you are pre approved for..

It is not unusual for a lender to require 12 months good rent reference..Not a character reference but payment refference...

If you were evicted..not good..

Talk to your loan originator or dealer about the exact situation and let them suggest a way to proceed..

No, we were not evicted. We have been there for more than 3 years but payments have been slow sometimes but attempts at catching up were made. Miss a month and then pay a month and a half 2 months in a row or add 100.00 to the rent for a few months to try and catch up.
