Hart vs Patriot
Hart vs Patriot
My Husband and I have been searching for a new home for quite some time now. We live in Kentucky. We have choices of Fleetwood, Clayton, Patriot, and maybe Hart. So far I have narrowed it down to Patriot (Crystal Valley) and Hart. I was wondering if you have any insight on either? Anything you can give us would be greatly appreciated?
Re: Hart vs Patriot
We toured the Patriot factory in Middlebury, Indiana, and it is a quality made home. The things that impressed are: interior doors are not cut off at the bottom; more choice of kitchen cabinet materials (we love the maple); floorplans (we love the Crystal Valley, too). If you get a chance, visit the factory. Good luck.
Re: Hart vs Patriot
IMO- the HART home will far surpass the others.
Hart uses 2 x 8 floor joist, 2 x 4 trusses ( 40# load), as for cabinets- white, maple or oak are the choices for Hart. They use great windows, carpet is 35 oz. ( not 25 like most),
You can go the the Hart web site www.harthousing.com to see, also view the plant - we did & they were very open & honest with us.
To us it just seemed like Hart cared more about us. They are pretty picky about the dealers too. The dealer needs to do any service work from them , that saves you time too. For the most part any warranty work is done during set up.
We have been very happy with them overall. Good luck.

Re: Hart vs Patriot
Thanks for you input. I believe we have decided to go with Patriot. We like both homes. Hart Homes does not have a dealer close to us (if they did, we would go with them). Thanks again.
