Vinyl Skirting

Maybe I misled you on my problem with the skirting, What happens is in the winter the ground freezes and pushes the bottom rail up forceing the skirting to push up the top rail which eventually causes the panels to fall out.

Of course..the best solution would be to move South...
The top rail is 4 inches wide...I doubt the ground moves that much..That said..there is no reason you could not trim the pieces to be about 2 inches into the rail..allowing 2 inch heave...and 2 inch retraction room..this should work..
If you are afraid of maning it useless..try it on a few of the worse locations..then see how they react for the summer..

I have done some checking and found out that we have a frost heave of between 3 to 5 inches. We have about 100 homes in the park and all have the same problem. Is there any company that makes a top back rail and top front rail that is deeper then 4 inches so that we have more movement of this problem.
