Just wondering what the "experts" say on this matter? What specific details would you find out about the home before buying?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
would you buy an existing mh on its own land?
Re: would you buy an existing mh on its own land?
This is a good question since I have a home on my own land that we are currently trying to sell.
Yes, I would very much like to find another home already pre-set. However, what I've currently found in my area is that home owners tend to over price their homes way above what the dealer sold it to them brand new, or the home is setting on several acres of land, which I don't want, or they haven't kept the home in decent condition but still want a retail price for it or the location of the existing home is not preferable.
I can buy a brand new home to my specifications on my own lot, not acreage, and still come several thousands dollars under what current home owners are asking for theirs used and set-up. Which is very sad because I would love to find the perfect home already set up to my liking and just move in without all the hassel.
