Atlas Roofing

My roof of 9 years was warrantied by Atlas Roofing thru Sunshine Mobile Homes. I have called them for a claim form since the shingles are turning up at the edges and 2 insurance adjusters have said Atlas is responsible, and they are in no hurry to get me the claim forms. What kind of a company is this? My roof is leaking and they don't care.

Atlas is one of the largest companies in the roofing business..They are multi national and a billion dollar company...

You can get a complete copy of your warranty and its excluesions and terms at...

http://www.atlasroofing.com/downloads/b ... rranty.pdf

It clearly says....

CLAIM REPORTING PROCEDURE:Any claim made hereunder must be made within
thirty (30) days after discovery of the alleged defect by calling 1-800-478-0258 or in writing to:
Atlas Roofing Corporation
Attn: Consumer Services
2564 Valley Road
Meridian, MS. 39307
To fully evaluate your claim we may ask you to provide and forward, at your expense, pictures of
your shingles and/or 2 full shingle samples for us to test. Repairs made prior to or during the
investigation period without Atlas Roofing Corporation’s prior written approval shall be at the
owner’s expense. With all claims, the original proof of purchase must be submitted with any other
claim information requested.

By the way...you 100% labor and materials warranty was for 3 years...After that the warranty is prorated for materials only...If they determine you have warranty problems...they will give you a coupon for the purchase of new Atlas shingles...for a home that is 120 months old..the coupon will be for a discount of 60%..The rest of the job..removal..installation and the balance of the cost will be on you...All shingle warranties are the same in this regard..

Mail them some pictures...2 samples..proof of purchase..and a letter demanding service...
That should get the ball moving.

P.S...if the sale person told you the roof had a long term warranty for leaks....HE/she lied...
