2000 "Peach State" Blues
2000 "Peach State" Blues
I have a question for Mr.Murray or any other expert in the know. I have a very good friend who has a 2000 Peach State doublewide. My friend Becky say's that Peach State (formerley out of Waycross,GA) has gone out of buisness. This home is falling apart, and now the floors (novadeck) are doing the rise and crumble routine. Is anyone aware of any recourse that my friend might persue? Thank's in advance for any advice:)
Re: 2000 "Peach State" Blues
Peachstate homes was not from Waycross...but close enough..
It is true that they are gone out of business...but even if they were still in business..the warranty would be over..
The nova deck floor is very sensitive to moisture...You friend needs to find the moisture source..If large areas of the floor are effected..it is probably a vent problem or moisture under the home...
There should be lots of vents in the skirting...dryer MUST be vented outside of the skirt...a/c condensation tube should be drained outside of skirt..
They need to be certian..water is not running off the home..then under it..if so..they should add gutters..
I guess the basics of the answer is that your friends will have to take care of their problems..sooner the better before they get worse....
