Any one know where you can get an equity loan done in todays financial market?Credit is not horrible but not good enough to get standard financing.Plan to put 50% + down (35k-40k).Home only.Financing approx. 25k at a reasonable rate.2003 new home ,invoice mid 40's.

Well, Fannie Mae regs changed 8/24 retro to 8/01 as far as I know because of their portfolio. I'm not certain that anyone does an "Equity Loan" if you mean like a "2nd". I think that financing in the future may be bumpy....and I have AAA credit...
