stylish modular homes okayed for ca. trailer park

I am in the process of leasing a space in an exclusive Ca. trailer park. One of the requirements is that you must own you're home. I am interested in buying a modern non geometric, if possible, type home. If not, then something a little different. I am not knowledgable of the restrictions of CALIF. mobile home parks, or what is availiable on the market. Any inut you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank You...

Mike,

What area of California are you referring to? And what exactly do you mean when you say a "modern non-geometric" type home? Let me know!

Thanks,

Linda

Check out http://interverse.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultim ... tion=intro

and http://www.thedwellhome.com/

to see and talk about some very exciting modulars, none of which are yet available. I'm trying to develop one myself, so email me when you are ready to buy.

Some spiffy designs there...Interestingly enough there has been something like this done in the past...

The famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of mobile homes in the late 60's...early 70's...They actually went into production by National Home Builders as I remember...They had very unusual color combinations, use of space and exterior design....very similar to some of the designs on this site..Unfortunately they were ahead of their times and were very expensive next to others and did not sell very well...

The trick is designs that do not add much to cost and do not give up much floor space......Good Luck in your effort...
