We are considering purchasing a Skyline manufactured home from the Sugarcreek Ohio plant. How does this line of home stack up against the other brands? We live in Western Pa., is this the best brand around this area. I like the Colony Brand, my husband says Skyline gives more for the money.

We have a Colony and we just love it.We only had a couple of small things that had to be fixed and you could not ask for nicer guys from the factory. Our home was built in PA and the factory was very quick to responed to our phone calls.I do not know anything about Skyline myself but just make sure you have a great dealer to work with.

We have been living in our Skyline for two years Aug 1st. We love it. Very few minor problems and no major problems. Ours came out of the San Jucinto, Ca. plant so not sure about the plants back east. Just make sure you get Plywood flooring, not OSB or Novadeck (particle board). In your area opt for the 2x6 walls with the extra insulation and have the max insulation put in the ceiling. As the other post said the dealer makes all the difference in the world. A good dealer will make the process a dream come true. A bad dealer will turn into your worst nightmire.
