If we have a house that has a title which are we a manufactured or a module(26x56)? if we want to upgrade to a ranch home what do we have to do? We have the carriage under the house but would like to remove it because it is just hanging on are span flooring and is a site to see in are basement. Can you give us advice as we are having truoble refinancing the home......

If you have a title...and it was built after 1976...you have a manufactured home...not a modular home..

As far as upgrading...go to a manufactured home dealer and discuss trading yours..If you have the title, it will make a good downpayment..

If the home is already on a basement...You might find it very expensive to trade...It probably would be better to sell the home and land and buy new..

The I-beam under carrage is an important part of the home and cannot be removed...

If you are on a basement...you should have NO problem getting finance unless the home is older than 1976....Enter your info into the finance request section of this web site and see what offers you get..
