Reselling Mobile home

My husband and I would like to sell our 1973 mobile home located in a San Diego county mobile home park where we pay space rent. We purchased it 3 years ago.

The Park is upgrading with newer homes. Ours is in reasonably good shape and we are willing to make improvements to bring everything up to code. Will a buyer still be required to relocate the mobile home if park management says they must? Is it possible that there are things which we would be UNABLE to fix and bring it to code?

A relative is currently renting the mobile home from us. The Park rules say we must rent only to relatives but they have recently set up their own mobilehomes and are renting them. Would we be able to rent to a nonrelative if we don't sell?

We would really appreciate your help.

Sincerely,

Discouraged

If you mean to bring it to current HUD code, the answer is no. The terms of the lease and the agreements you made, would have to be assessed by an attorney.
