I'm looking for some info. on this particular model. I was quoted a price of 54,500. A dealer of Clayton and Horton homes tells me Fleetwood is not good quality and they don't stand behind their sales. Any info. would be appreciated.

And I had a Chevy dealer tell me Fords were no good....Oh well..
I will say in your area that the Horton is far superior to the others you have mentioned when it come to construction..

This is the same model we are looking at in the Central TX area, w/the upgraded insulation package and 2x6 exterior walls. Are we wasting our money on a Fleetwood? If so, who do you recommend in the Central TX area? We have looked at Palm Harbor and thought the house felt cheap plus it cost more than Fleetwood.

We have a Fleetwood Entertainer and it is WONDERFUL! We did all the upgrades possible. We have had it about a year and Fleetwood has been at our beckon call for every need we had. We wanted the exterior repainted and within a week they had it done for us. We wanted some touch ups on the inside, nothing major, I'm just picky and they sent the contractors right out to fix it. It is a lower priced home, Fleetwood is cheaper priced home, we have lived in Palm Harbor and another expensive home and they were hard for us to pay for. This house does not have tape and texture walls, I can do that myself down the road when I get tired of the ones it came with. I highly recommend Fleetwood for the price and for the company taking care of business. I go direct to Fleetwood when I need help. I don't have to worry about messing with the dealer. Hope this helps. God bless, angelnstix

I am currently living in a redman, redwood (94) manufactured home in a mobile home park. We owe around 50 thousand. I want out of the park and out of the house. Putting it up for sale is of no use. What can I do? The lot rent is too high and park living is not that great. We need a lower payment. Any ideas would be of great help. Thanks
