My husband and I are looking into buying a 2001 manufactured home and we were wondering how much and how quickly manufactured homes go down in value.

It depends where it is and whether you own the land underneath it. You can get general ideas from the NADA guide (google-search for it). But, say you are in the San Francisco Bay Area - older ones fetch several times their original price, even in a park, since housing in that area is so far out of reach. The converse may be true where there is lots of cheap, open land.
