what to look for in purchasing manufactured home

Hi, I am presently selling my home and am considering buying a mobile or modular home. I am going to retire in about six years or so. I have two 18 year olds at home. Would a manufactured home be suitable for this situation? What should I look for when searching for a home. How do I ensure the best resale when I retire, etc or shall I not look at manufactured homes at all> thanks

If you can buy a home with land in a good area..you will be fine...as a matter of fact you will be able to have a nice home...AND..a few bucks left to help with college expenses if that is the case...

Read many of the posts here...Get information all you can...Come here and ask often...Do your homework and you will be very happy...

You might ask your 18 yr olds to help...Could be a great education for their future..
