what is the best quality/deal of manufactured homes? i have looked at fleetwood & sunshine so far.

Depends on where you are but of those two Sunshine is a winner hands down. They make a nice home about midrange price wise. Fleetwood is on the low end price wise and has a number of complaints and actions against them. http://www.fleetwoodhorrorstories.com/ is a web site devoted to Fleetwood so you might want to check it out. Ask as many questions as you can on this site, there are some some experts and others (like me) that just have opinions an still looking.

Just a word of advice, I would not go with Fleetwood! We purchased an $80,000 home with all upgrades and put on perm. foundation. We were lied to throughout the entire process! We have had numerous problems, leaking roofs (that were patched and leaked again in same spot, uneven doors, missing pieces (i.e. screens, light fixtures, ect.) Very poor customer service and no one wants to repair our problems or stand behind the contractors that installed it as well as our septic tank. Good luck with your search!

I agree with you on fleetwood. however it look like www.fleetwoodhorrorstories.com doesn't exist anymore. what happen to it. please let me know. I had a fleetwood home which caught fire killed four family members and i am currently suing them. been a long battle. anyways. take care. please respond.
