wheels/axles?

i have read somewhere, i thought it was in randy's book(but i can't find it), that the wheels/axles are valuable. can someone explain this?

For over 15 years homes have been priced without the wheels and axles....The dealer takes them and resells them to an axle recycler...The delaer does get money for them...but this is calculated into his pricing policy...Our dealership will happily leave the axles and tires for the additional price we would have gotten from the sale to the recycler....

This started when many lenders required the wheels and axles be removed..as most require today....

You should have no problem keeping them...but you should expect to pay for them...
