Is overhead ventilation a safe way to go on a new mobile home.
Also, Is it safe to purchase from a dealer several hundred miles away?

Overhead ducts are common in warm weather climates...A/c works a little more efficiently from the cieling..Other benefits are furnicture placement and even health benefits (no dust and dirt accumulates in them to be blown through the home everytime the a/c runs)....The downside is repair and maintenence.....To get to them a section of the roof has to be removed and is a major job...They do not need attention often...but when they do it is a large job..

Generally it is better to buy locally...but...if you have done your homework, the home is top of the line..the manufacturer has good service and the dealer is quality....buying from a distance is not a problem..I would not buy hundreds of miles away to save a few hundred dollars.....
