1965 Brookwood

My wife and I just recently purchased a 1965 Brookwood Mobile Home. There doesnt seem to be any information on the Internet in regards to the company and we had some questions as first time mobile home buyers. One of our primary concerns is whether or not asbestos was used in the original paint. Any help anyone can be would be greatly appreciated.

Go to google.com, and do an advanced search on "asbestos paint" as an exact phrase. You will find many articles, including procedures for testing for asbestos
in paint. BTW... lead, another known carcinogen and poison, was used in paint
as late as 1978.
