I live in MIchigan and have had a 1985 Champion dw for sale with no luck. The home is in very good condition and I am asking a very low sale price. I need to get rid of it fast because it is vacant in a park and I am paying lot rent and running out of money to save my credit. What can I do to get rid of the home?
Thank you
Can't Sell
Re: Can't Sell
Have you checked with the park owner to see if they might be interested? In todays market, your sale price may seem low to you, but there may be a lot of used homes on the market in your area. The park owner may make you an offer.
Re: Can't Sell
In one of my real estate circles, there is a saying that "price sells." If the location
of the home is good, and many other homes are for sale there, price will sell.
Sometimes the best thing to do is to figure up how much money you will spend
over the next year if you don't sell. Figure in taxes, utilities, lot rent, and anything
else that may be an expense. Total them all , and multiply times 80 percent. Take
that amount off the your current asking price, saving the remaining 20 percent for
negotiation. Perhaps you will then see some results.
