Neophyite First Time New Mobile Home Buyer
Neophyite First Time New Mobile Home Buyer
Where can I search for some guidance regarding first time new mobile home buyer? It all seems quite overwhelming. Just looking over new home plans, I am confused by seeing water heater in master bedroom area. With my life style, that placement would not work for me since I start laundry and then go to bed. Plus I am sure that there are many more items over which to be concerned about which I am not knowledgeable enough to ask, question, etc. What to do, what to do.

Hmm...
If you were buying a site built home, you could still face the dilema of so many
choices. Manufactured homes have many different floorplans, models, styles,
etc.
First and foremost, you might want to buy Randy's book(s) on manufactured
homes. They will give you a ton of information that you may not know about
how homes are constructed, and what to look for in quality.
Try to make a list of all the items you require for your home. Go to different
MH dealers and see what you can come up with. Look at various floorplans,
and see if you can come up with a match.
Check back here and ask questions....
good luck

I agree, buy the book. Study, study and when you are done; study more. Use this forum and you will find it an invaluable resource. I have. Visit dealerships and locate a dealer that you are comfortable with. In other words, shop for a dealer first and then the home if you will.
Just my two cents.
