Best Brands of MHomes

Hi I'm Looking to buy a home and have heard that some of the manufactured homes actually appriciate rather than depreciate. If you know of these can you recommend some of the better/best ones please? I'm in Oregon.

Just like any home...this depends on the location more than the brand...If the area is desirable..then the home will appreciate...
Most homes on its own proerty will do this and many homes in parks with highly desirable locations will as well.....The big trick to your quest is to find a good location to place your home...

I have searched the web over and still have not found a rating on brands of manufactured homes (modulars). I live in IN, is one brand better then the rest? Lets say is a Dutch home better then a Patriot home? There are numerous brands. Is there a better manufacturer of homes? Please help....... I own the land so location is not a question.

I would recommend that both of you buy Randy's book on how to buy a
manufactured home. There are huge differences between the well constructed
homes, and the cheap "fluff and stuff" homes.
