lighting / wiring

Hi, I'm in the process of redoing the kitchen.I have removed the wall between the kitchen and living room. The light switch ,wich used to be in the wall, is now hanging loose.I would like to move it from middle of ceiling, over to the wall as a standard wall switch. Where does the wiring run ? from the breaker box thru roof joints? is ceiling solid or is there an opening if i remove the ceiling panels between the plastic joining strips?it is an older trailer.1976 / Homeco-Colony.

Do not take out the ceiling, this just makes a big problem out of a small one. Remove the wall panal at the new location, drill the hole thru the top plate, but not up thru the roof, and use a coat hanger or the like to fish the wires to the new location.
