Carriage Manufactured Homes

Hi & Help!!
My husband and I are thinking about purchasing a 1998 32x90 manufactured home by Carriage. We are aware that Carriage Homes are no longer in business, but since we're not dealing with a warranty we don't think this would be a problem. We are new to the manufactured home living and we are quite green about the whole thing. What we are interested in finding out is what kind of quality home did Carriage build? What was their reputation (great, not great, poor, etc). Is it a brand you would consider buying? And, of course any other comments or information you can provide.
