Framing code

Is there a standard framing code for mobile homes, in other words, are the 2 x 4's required to be on 18, 20 or 24 inch centers?

No.If a plant can make something work, do it on 48 inch centers,with particleboard, HUD will pass it.The problem with the HUD code is it does not address long term effects.If the HUD code mandated standard building practices this industry would not have 75% of the problems it has.You as a educated buyer can find a MF home builder that will build to the standard code.If you dont you will get what you get.
