Is it possible to have input into the design of a manufactured home? If so, do the number of load-bearing walls preclude an "open" floor plan?

Carl, search the floor plans offered from manufacturers. I located two I liked from Homes of Merit and the home I am going to buy is a comination of two different homes. The upper scale builders will customize. If you have the proper software, you can create so pretty neat stuff. That is how I came up with mine. Hope this helps you out.
