Trying to identify a manufacturer of a mobile home that's been on our property for decades.
We've been unsuccessful finding the serial number so far. The property is out of state and I usually have more other issues I'm dealing with when I'm in town.

Attached is what looks like a faded logo on the front. I'm trying to gather any info I can to do a reverse search with the state's manufactured housing division.

One option could be to contact the state’s manufactured housing division with any identifying marks from the logo, and they might help you cross-reference it with their records. Also, have you checked for any other labels or plates inside or outside the mobile home that might contain more details?

From the photo, the faded badge on the front looks like it could be a manufacturer’s logo plate, but unfortunately many companies used very similar rectangular metal tags, and decades of sun exposure often makes them unreadable. A few suggestions that might help with a reverse search:

Check inside: Look in kitchen cabinets, bedroom closets, the electrical panel, or under sinks for a HUD data plate or paper label. They’re often overlooked.

Frame inspection: If you can safely access underneath, the serial/VIN is sometimes stamped directly into the steel frame near the hitch end.

State records: Since you’re already planning to contact the manufactured housing division, giving them the approximate year, size, roof type, siding material, and axle count can sometimes narrow it down even without a serial.

Local clues: Longtime neighbors, county permit records, or tax assessor files sometimes list the original manufacturer or dealer.

Logo comparison: You might also try posting a close-up of the logo to a manufactured housing or mobile home restoration forum—there are folks who recognize old brand plates surprisingly fast.
