I need to replace almost all of the fascia on my mobile home. I cannot find anything resembling the original material (1981) which is some kind of cheap fiberboard. What I am considering is using Hardie board, but am concerned about the weight. I checked the integrated rain gutters and there are these metal tabs tying the outside lip of the gutter directly to the awning material, so I think it could carry the sheer weight no problem, but would like to hear anyone's opinion or experience regarding this.

I haven't researched it deeply, but to replace everything would cost quite a bit. I wonder how much it would cost?
