Water leak

I bought a Clayton homes mobile home and noticed I had a leak under the house. I cut a hole in the insulation and water just poured out. When I looked in the hole however, I don't see any water pipes. All I see is a square metal duct. I'm assuming the plumbing is running inside this? How do get to the pipe in order to fix it? Need some advice om not an idiot but I don't want to damage anything while trying to fix it.

Hi. Can you provide more pictures or plumbing diagrams? Leaks from metal pipes usually do not occur.

Hi! Have you tried reaching out to Clayton Homes customer service or checking any manuals that came with your home?

House prices can increase or decrease depending on time. Besides, when you text to ask for the price, the seller will have the opportunity to advise to help customers make it easier to close.

If you see a square metal duct, it’s likely part of your HVAC system. Inspect it for any visible holes or damage that could be causing condensation or leaks.

in many Clayton Homes mobile homes, plumbing lines often run inside or alongside the HVAC ductwork for insulation and freeze protection. To access the pipes, first, turn off the water supply. Then, carefully remove sections of the underbelly insulation and vapor barrier near the leak without damaging the duct. If the pipes are inside the duct, you may need to cut an access panel in the ductwork to reach and repair the leak. Once fixed, reseal everything properly to prevent future issues. If unsure, consider consulting a mobile home plumber.
