Vapor barrier/ moisture barrier

Post by IngridC » Wed Mar 15, 2017 2:09 pm

I have a mobile home I bought 4 years ago, and it hasn't rained at all until just recently. I get a lot of moisture in the home including my closet. Everything feels wet. How can I get a moisture barrier put in my pre-existing mobile home underneath without moving the piers?

What I did was to get that one quarter inch reflective insulation like the sell at Lowes and put that against my existing vapor barrier. The existing was starting to go bad.
After that, I got on of those solar powered attic fans and hook it up so it draws air from underneath my home. I haven't had any moisture problems underneath my home since I did that.
