Fuel (Oil) Tank on Rental Property
The mobile home park in which I live has just changed management. The new management wants to now charge homeowners an additional $10 monthly fee for their fuel (oil) tanks which they insist is for additional liability insurance that they will carry for "instances in which a resident's fuel tank is compromised and the liquid fuel leaks onto the ground." Wouldn't my homeowner's policy cover something like that? Is this something the management can do legally?
