Hello -
My 22yr old daughter is interested in purchasing a mobile home in a Park. The Park owner does her own financing, etc. It may be better to get a loan at a bank.
I am concerned with possible back rent and existing liens (local & Federal).
First - I am trying to find out the Manufacturer of the 1996/97 18'x80' Atlanta and know the approximate value. I would like to do some homework before I go look at the home and help make any decisions with her.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks - Julie

Re: 1996/97 Atlanta
I have never heard of the brand name Atlanta. "Atlantic" is a trade name for Champion Homes. The name "Atlantis" has been used by Clayton Homes, Liberty Homes and Schult Homes.
Since the banks crashed the economy it has not been easy getting financing from a traditional lender for homes in parks. There is no problem with owner financing as long as the contract is equitable and fair. Have a lawyer review the contracts prior to signing.
