69 Northland Ceiling rip out

Hi,we bought a lake 69 Northland MH which is in great shape. it is on a lake and we want to remove the ceiling to make it look bigger and paint/restore whats there above the ceiling. we just have no idea whats there. we cannot find any pictures on the net ofceiling removal. all feedback is welcome and needed. Bob

You really don't want to remove the ceiling... directly above the ceiling panels is a plastic vapor barrier that the insulation is sitting on. the ceiling panels are fastened to the bottom cord of the trusses. Unless you have the expertness to redesign remove and replace the roof trusses you will not gain any height....
