We are putting this home on a 3/4 basement with foundation on the rest. I Beams will be supported by steel posts every 10ft and as needed. 4 Beams run the length of home and are 1 ft wide. Will I beams need to be supported from side to side with 16 in I beams inbedded in concrete and welded to to frame or is that too much?

Modern foundations are engineered to meet local building codes, manufacturers specs and soil conditions on your specific property. There is always more than one way to design any support project.

Get competing bids from three or four contractors that utilize competing foundation systems or local engineers.
