Search your area for a manufactured housing dealer that will take your old home in trade for a newer home and payments. There are a few in almost every city.

Where are you? State ? City?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. It has to do with Grissim's two books. I understand about the land part in the second book, don't need that information....I don't think. We already have a lot to put a manufactured home on. Do I need to buy both books? The difference please, between "Ratings" and "Guide" Would not the ratings provide the information needed to guide the buyer?

My husband and I plan to purchase a manufactured home next year for our property in North Carolina. I really like the Silvercrest Manor series but see they are manufactured in CA. Would it be possible to purchase a Silvercrest for NC? or is there a comparable brand I can look into for NC?

The cost of transportation across the country would most likely make a Silvercrest prohibitive.

There are high end products built for every market. Look in our book store at The Grissim Ratings Guide to Manufactured Homes This book rates every Manufactured Housing Builder's products, price ranges, construction ratings & more

Once you own the book you will have access to regular updates from the authors website.
