I have a 1984 Gallatin Cimarron that the power went out in in 1/4 of the house. Do you know where the wiring was connected when the two halves were put together. Can I get wiring schematics for this home?
Thank you.

There is NO repository of old house plans anywhere. You will have to find a local electrician skilled in troubleshooting. While hunting for the problem he/she can draw a plan as they go..

The electrical cross over in a doublewide has no standard location. Even when dealing in the same brand of home you may find it at different locations in different models.
Start by looking under the home along the center line. You might get lucky as in some of the older homes there was a connection box under the center line.
Look at the interior hitch end walls and the rear (as it would go down the road) walls. Some builders had a connection point in the wall that would be covered with a blank receptacle cover plate. Others hid the connection in the wall in a closet or cabinet that is on the center line. Some had boxes with blank cover plates... Others used what they call quick disconnects which might be hidden in a center line wall.
If you continue to have a problem locating the cross over My Murray's plan for an electrician would be the best way to go. If only part of one side is out you might have a problem breaker?? Try turning them off one at a time to see if the problems is on a single breaker that might need to be replaced..

Most of the cross over connections are at the back below the marriage line. However in the 1980's many of the homes had one main panel in the master closet closest to the utility connection and then a second sub panel for the "B" side either on the back of the home or inside another master bedroom closet.
