covering the hitch
covering the hitch
We recently purchased a home from the 70's The hitch juts way out into the lawn and is not a pretty sight. Does anyone have any clever ways to hide or cover the hitch? Thanks.

Re: covering the hitch
The easiest thing to do is to get the hitch cut off. This can be done with a torch... keep a hose running in case you accidentally set the house on fire... or it can be cut off with a German Saw.
If your not into doing this yourself you can get the number of the nearest welding shop from the local yellow pages. Drag the hitch under the home and if you ever need to move it you can get it welded back on

Thank you very much. We didn't know the hitch could be removed. It's as good as done!
