Hi,
I am looking for a DVD of a factory tour and site setting of a modular home. I work in Code Enforcement and need an informative video on the construction methods of modular homes. I am not looking for a sales video, but rather what you would see if you were to actually tour a factory. We have an association that is to large and to far away from the closest factory to arrange for a factory tour. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are dozens of videos of factory tours and modular sets online, most of them have been collected in our Video Section
While there is a huge amount of materials about HUD Manufactured Homes that are build to a national standard. There has been very little written about modular as they follow individual state construction codes.
The best book written about modulars is THE MODULAR HOME BOOK. You can read excerpts of each chapter at The Modular Housing Network
The best resource for site prep for either manufactured or modular homes is Manufactured Housing Site Preparation & Installation from George Porter, the industry's most respected installation specialist. For a huge free archive of information you can browse the George Porter Article Library
To get a real handle on the construction process you will find nothing that replaces a live factory tour. The level of understanding I reached from the first hour on the factory floor would have taken weeks of book and video study.
