I need to sell my mobile home ASAP!!! My husband is staring a job in northern minnesota in 2 weeks.We are willing to sell for less than what we owe but are having a hard time finding buyers.PLEASE HELP!!!! Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Selling a manufactured home is not much different than any other home..I am afraid 2 weeks is unrealistic time frame..Ready to sell homes of any type at top market price usually take months (sometimes many months) to sell...There are buyers for your house at some price..These usually cash buyers will offer probably far less than you want but they can be quick....Usually used home dealers and professional landlords are the easiest to find...Normal buyers will most often have to arrange for financing which in its self probably would take longer than 2 weeks even if they have great credit...To find these folks you will have to advertise your home and market it like others are in your area...Professional sellers (used home dealers) often take months to sell a particular home...You have a tall order..Good Luck..

There is a huge surplus of homes on the market. We are going thru a time when homes take longer to sell then any time in recent memory. Unless your willing to give your home away for quiet a bit below what your expecting the chances of a sale in only 2 weeks is probably unrealistic in today's market.

My mother is also trying to sell her modularhome ASAP! We are currently located in Grand Blanc, MI and since her husband passed away this past March she can't deal with living in her home anymore. Is there anyone that can purchase her home with out trying to give it away? We tried listing it in the community in which it is located but the agent has only shown it once in the last 2 3/4 months, her contract is up with that agent at the end of this month and we need to get her moved out of this community so she can grieve and move on with her life.

P.S. He did not pass away at home.

What are her options to get this home sold ASAP?? Can someone please help her. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have another thread here from folks close to your mom...She is in the middle of the WORSE housing market in the US...I hope you read the articles that admin posted...The national MLS of manufactured homes is directly to the left...There are currently 191 manufactured homes listed for sale on it..By far the most of any state.You might want to consider listing yours...No percentage..only a small 1 time fee to have the home listed for as long as it takes to sell....I might suggest going to the GM plant near by (if it is still open) and find out if you can buy ads in the plant newsletter or union publication..Be sure to read the articles mentioned in the above post and make sure your mom's home is ready to sell.
