How to Refinance

Post by cmcox » Tue Jun 27, 2006 2:46 pm

My ex-boyfriend's name is on the loan along with mine (dumb move). I want to get him off since he moved out two years ago. I can't find him and I want to sell this place. Does anyone know of a company that re-finances mobile homes? I have Greentree now and they will not refinance it. Thanks!

You will have to find him..he actually owns 1/2 of this home..he will have to sign off the title into your name..

You can find loan sources here;

We re-finanaced our original loan in October 2004. It was hard to find a company that would do it, but we ended up with CU Factory Built Lending. They are based out of San Antonio, TX and their # is 866-310-2143.

I also got a sales call recently from a company called Western Finance, Inc. Not sure if they re-fi, may just be on new purchases, but the guy's name is David and his # is 800-418-9743 x 16.

Good luck!

if its on a perma foundation there are alot of mtg companies that will refinance-(Chase) you need to get the boyfriend off the title though-no one will touch it unless you have POA or he signs off.
