Mobile Homed inspection

We are looking to buy a 1987 Jacobson in a mobile Home park in Palm Harbor,FL . One own the land as well in this Village. We would like to locate a knowledgeable Mobile Home inspector. Any suggestions?

Typicaly, your run of the mill inspectors know nothing on manufactured homes. Check with inspectors to see if they are familiar with the HUD standards and get a copy of one of the previous inspections to see what they look at. It will be hard to find an inspector who knows about your housing product.

Which Mobile Home Park are you considering? We are in a resident owned park in Palm Harbor. We are in the middle of putting in a new Skyline and have met the inspector, who deals only with mobile homes. He know all the parks and might be able to help. Call the Pinellas County Building Dept. and ask for the mobile home inspector. Good Luck!
