Most manufacturers offer 36 inch interior doors...lever door handles..singdle lever faucets..and handicapped comodes...All as an upgrade..but very low costs..Ask the dealer you are working with...GO For it...

Hi,

I have a guide that lays out modifactions that are most often used for handicapped homes when designing a manufactured home. It is available at www.aaalandhomes.com under the reports section.

I am also a consultant that offers six different brands of manufactured homes that can be installed anywhere in the western US. We do offer handicapped friendly manufactured homes. Feel free to email me for assistance.

Sincerely,

Eric Straatsma

Ask that the home be built ADA compliant. This will get you wider walkways and doorways, lever handles, grab bars (the walls must be reinforced where the grab bars go, drywall fasteners don't cut it), etc.
