finding zoning allowing mh placement chicago suburbs

Help! How do you find a town that allows you to buy land and place a MH on premises. Willing to move just outside of the Chicago suburbs but must commute in, will travel up to one hour.

You might try the IL Manufactured Housing Association...they can be found at..

They have a map to locate dealers in the various counties...Call them and ask about local zoning issues...They will know..

I moved south of Joliet and drive north of chicago. It is a little longer commute. Unfortunately around here you have to be in the country with your own land or live in a park. Probably can't be in a city. Too many builder unions here.
